6 Instagram-Worthy Seoul Cafes - The Daebak Company

From latte art and good coffee to cafes with completely pink interiors, Korean cafe culture offers a wide range of Instagram photo opportunities and delicious food. Korean cafes are a hotspot for cute flat lays and candid pictures for all avid Instagram foodies. Due to the popularity of cafes, Korea is littered with cute little cafes around almost every corner, so here is a small compilation of cafes to assist you on your cafe-hopping adventures.

Stylenanda Pink Pool Cafe

Address: 23 Wausan-ro 29da-gil, Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul

While this is a relatively mainstream start to the list, this cafe is 100% a must-go and you really can’t say you’ve been to Seoul unless you’ve uploaded an Instagram here. As the name suggests, the Pink Pool Cafe has a pastel pink, vintage theme and is attached to a Stylenanda and 3CE store, so after a draining shopping trip, this is the perfect place to sit and recharge while snapping some new Instagrams next to the iconic pink pool.

Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20

Address: 23, Donggyo-ro 45-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul

This black and white cafe is a peek into the world of 2D and cartoons. From furniture to decorations to cutlery, all aspects of this cafe are reflective of hand-drawn sketches. This unique aesthetic is a step away from other Korean cafes and is an increasingly popular spot for Instagram enthusiasts.

Dango Jib

Address: 356-9 Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul

If you were hoping to visit a more traditional cafe, Dango Jib offers a taste of Japan in Seoul. This cafe is mainly known for its rice cakes which are delicately covered in sauces of different flavour and colour. But if rice cakes aren’t your thing, they also offer bingsoo and other savoury options. In particular, Dango Jib has a special cherry blossom dango, bingsoo and drink which is available all year round!

Zapangi

Address: 79, World Cup-ro 13-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul

Zapangi is another pink-themed cafe with a more whimsical approach to their foods and drinks. Upon entry, guests are welcomed by a pink vending machine door which leads into a fine selection of mermaid or unicorn tin cakes, donuts and drinks amongst the typical cafe menu. Again, Zapangi is a hotspot for avid Instagram users due to its colourful foods and neon signs.

One In A Million

Address: 31 Itaewon-ro 54-gil, Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul

This is a relatively less vividly coloured cafe, with a more minimal and pastel aesthetic - a perfect dichotomy of rustic and elegant. One In A Million is a cozy cafe with a homey atmosphere, touches leafy greens and pastel pink. If ‘the-girl-next-door’ vibe is more your speed, One In A Million is a must-go!

Hoody Goody

Address: 14 Hanggang-daero 84-gil, Namyeong-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul

As if straight from a dollhouse, Hoody Goody like the new and improved version of Barbie’s dream house. This case is the epitome of pastel minimalism, from dainty little plates to perfectly crafted cakes. The doll-like essence of this cafe allows guests to be transported back to their elementary school days while enjoying the quiet novelties of adulthood.
